Exciting Events（○•口•○）

Our club will have event for International Food on October 29th!!!!!!

There will have a lot of foods you never have it. We will cook healthy and yummy traditional foods from our countries such as Japan, China , French and so on. Everyone feel free to  come our special food party!!!!

Also we have Movie Night on October 30th.

We will sale some snacks such as popcorn and pockey. There is scary movie in pierce hall .

if you have interest in our club, then you should come our international club  meeting on Tuesday at 6 in peterson hall.

Stuff Coming Up

  We have an international dinner coming up on the 29th which should be alot of fun. I’m making some gnocchi (Italian) and perogies (Polish). We’re also going to have French desserts, a variety of Asian dishes, and some more Italian food. As a lover of food, I am very excited for this. =D

  We also have a movie night coming up. It’s on the 30th. It’s going to be all Asian horror movies. I’m kind of scared about that actually haha. I’m definitely going to go though. I hear that Asian horror is alot better than American so I have to atleast try it out. Might be too scary for me but I’ll give it a go haha

My experience

As an international student, I would like to talk about how I was able to adapt myself to the States and how the International Club at FPU helped me.  I’m from abroad, and didn’t know English before coming to America.  I took some English classes, but I was able to make new friends at the International Club.  I was able to practice English, and know about the american culture by the events organized by the club.  I was able to go to Museums about American history, taste some good food at the International Dinner….

The other thing I like about this club is that it’s a great way to share and know about other cultures because of the diverse nationality of our members.  I hope this first entry will intrigue people to read our blog.  Thanks for reading.

First Entry !!!!! :)

International Club is a once-a-week get together for students abroad and those interested in learning about new cultures. So far we intend to have an international food night on the 23th of October. We are also going to have a scary movie night for Halloween on the 29th of October. All students of FPU are welcome to come!
